Twins are always an extra special delivery when it comes to adding to your family. Today, some couples not only add twins but also even more babies all at once thanks, in part, to the increased effectiveness of fertility drugs. Whether you're having two babies or seven, you're still going to want to send out some type of special announcement to your friends and family. And usually these baby announcements are going to get a lot of attention. Below is some information about sending out these twin birth announcements.

Choosing Twins Birth Announcements

Just because you have double or triple the babies, you don't have to mail out multiple birth announcements. The nice thing is that you can now find a birth announcement that will meet the specific needs you have for multiple births. Vendors carry cards that can have more than one photo attached for sending which means recipients can see both adorable baby faces at one time. These photo announcements are a great choice because they also have room for their names and for other birth details.

Now if you're going to be having triplets or an even greater number of little ones, you may need to have some type of card created just for your specific needs. Consider having small pictures of the babies placed on the invitations or you could try to get a photograph of all the babies together in one shot. Be sure to list all of their names on the card. You may want to put them in order from first born to last born.

Using the Announcements

Now that you have an ample bundle of you, you'll want to pick the right cards for your needs. Some of the cards for twins are divided into two colors so you can place a picture of your little girl on the pink and the picture of your little boy on the blue side. Of course, if you've had multiple births from both genders you might want to pick a more neutral color. Yellow, green, or purple would be good options. Any of these hues can be a great option.

Getting Ready for Newborn Twins

Once you mail those twin birth announcements, prepare for the barrage of questions you are about to receive. Keep in mind that when you have multiple births people are going to be very interested. When you have twins, for example, you are going to hear people asking how you tell the children apart and whether you've ever gotten them confused.

Don't be surprised if you hear the same questions repeatedly. It goes with the territory. People just find multiple births interesting and there's nothing you can do about that. Just be ready to start being patient as soon as you begin mailing those twin birth announcements.
